Turn Leftover Lasagna Noodles Into Delicious Pasta Crackers
Lasagna is a great way to quench your pasta cravings. If you still have cooked noodles after making lasagna, quench that thirst by turning them into pasta crackers.
We spend a lot of food every year . And an ingredient like lasagna noodles is so specific that it’s hard to make anything else out of it. Unless you get a little creative. Ktchn lists several ways to repurpose lasagna leftovers, and this was one of my favorites (probably because it’s the simplest):
If you have noodles or fresh lasagna on hand, cut the leaves into pieces. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the noodles in one layer. Sprinkle (or color) with olive oil and then sprinkle with salt and spices … Then place the noodles in the 375 ° F oven and cook until slightly puffy and crispy, about eight to 10 minutes.
Of course, this only works with boiled or fresh noodles. So the dried foods you get in the store must be cooked first to make them … which is not the way to go (you might as well just buy crackers). But it’s a great way to use up leftovers, and you can check out more tips at the link below.
