Make a Tool Storage Box to Fit Your Pickup Truck With Extra Cab
Make the most of the limited extra space in the truck cab by building a dedicated storage box to keep your tools safe and organized.
Trucks do a great job with tools and equipment, but you either need to install a truck box that wastes bed space and can be jailbroken, or you can simply store your tools in the extra cab space and watch them fold and move.
If you are not carrying passengers, it is a great idea to create a dedicated tool storage box that will fit in the extra cab space behind the front seats. First remove the small folding seats in the back and measure from door to door and from floor to top of seat back. Use these dimensions to cut a 3/4 ” plywood box.
