Establish Rules for What Not to Do During Creative Time

Working on creative projects is already difficult enough, but trying to plan a time in which you can create is almost impossible. To help you a little with the process, 99U suggests creating a “can’t” kit when you work on projects.

The idea is to save yourself unnecessary bullshit when you set aside time to work on a creative project:

Set rules for your creative blocks. The rules should state what is NOT allowed during creative work. For example, I have a strict ban on email during creative blocks.
