Parlay Allows You to Place a Small Bet With Your Friends
Android / iOS: We’ve always had cases where we wanted to challenge a friend or colleague for a friendly bet, or maybe just a challenge. “Loser buys pizza,” or “gotta drink for me,” or even “give five dollars to my favorite charity.” Parlay is an app that makes it easy and makes cashing out easy.
The application is quite simple: just install you and your friend, install, so to speak, “express” or whatever you challenge your friend to, and the rates. You can set your bet in cash if you want, but the app also supports picture challenges (if you do X, I’ll wear a tutu with a shoe on my head , for example), or even charity challenges where anyone who takes to challenge and lose ( or win!) must donate to a specific charity.
Parlay is already supporting several charities right away, including Girls Who Code, Charity: Water, Watsi, and Pencils of Promise. From there, you can scroll through the feed to see other people challenge their friends and respond with emoticons or rewards. Make no mistake, this is clearly a technological replacement for those friendly bets that your friends should remember if they were actually your friends, but it’s still fun.
