Verizon Adds $ 20 to Legacy Unlimited Customer Bills

Verizon hasn’t offered customers any new unlimited data plans since 2011, but there are still a few people clinging desperately to the old ways. This usually involves buying phones outside of the contract. However, since there is no contract with these customers, Verizon is free to raise rates as it sees fit. This is the first time in many years that Verizon is exercising this right.
Unlimited plans will grow from $ 30 per month to $ 50 per month. More importantly, this price will be per line . Unlike Verizon’s shared data segments, customers need to buy an unlimited data plan for every device they own. If you have a family of five and each person has an unlimited plan, then the bill increase will be $ 100 per month.
This will likely upset old Verizon customers, but there isn’t much you can do about it. In the near future, customers may need to either upgrade to a tiered plan or leave Verizon entirely to save money. Either way, it looks like Verizon’s unlimited plans are short-lived for this world.
