Help Your Kids Make New Travel Friends by Visiting Public Parks and Squares
Involving kids on trips is key to keeping everyone happy , but museums and monuments only hold attention for a long time. Children need to play, preferably with other children. When your kids’ interest dies down, take them to a nearby park or town square to meet the local kids. They play and broaden your horizons a little, and you relax.
In most European countries, after leaving school, local children often gather in public places such as parks or squares to play until lunchtime. Take a break from the museums and go there on your own. Even if your children do not speak this language, children are great at finding ways to communicate with each other. Help them by equipping them with snacks or cheap toys to share with other children. By giving the kids time to play, they can burn off energy and, moreover, they will leave with some memories.
