Turn on This Chrome Developer Experiment to Save Pages Offline
Android: If you are using the developer version of Chrome for Android, you can enable a hidden feature to keep pages offline. Thus, you can keep this information close at hand even if you lose the Internet.
To enable this feature, you need to use Chrome Dev on your phone. Then follow these steps:
- Enter
Chrome://flags
in the address bar and press Enter. - Find “Enable Offline Pages” in the list.
- Switch this entry to Enabled.
- Find “Advanced Bookmarks”.
- Switch this entry to Enabled.
- Save your changes.
After that you will find a new menu item called “Saved Pages”. You can use this to save the pages you want to save. You will find the pages you have already saved in the Bookmarks section. This feature is currently only available in the developer version, but it could be rolled out to other versions at a later date, just like some features in the past .
