Instantly Align Wobbly Chair Legs With a Table Saw

Table saws can cut yards of sheet material over a period of days, but they can also be used in more subtle ways, such as for leveling furniture legs.

If your chair is wobbling, the floor may be to blame, and you can fix it by twisting it a little . But if your chair actually has one leg longer than the other, you need to do a little more work.

The legs of the chair can be aligned using sandpaper or a plane, but the process is time consuming and positioning the chair can be awkward. A table saw blade with heights ranging from 1/64 to 1/32 inch can be used to plan the bottom of the two tallest legs that should line up the chair. Use the flat surface of a table saw to check the balance of the chair.

Sand the ends of the legs when finished to remove any unevenness and immediately start using the lined chair.
