Numi Is a Simple, Easy-to-Understand Calculator for Mac
OS X: Numi is a calculator that can handle multiple operations at the same time, but still gives you the answer you want. For example, if you are wondering which five days are from next Tuesday or what the 15% discount on a € 50 item will be in USD, Numi will quickly tell you so you don’t have to perform each operation separately.
We mentioned Numi before , a long time ago, and the app is still great, but it has come a long way since then. It has greatly improved natural language processing and can handle all sorts of computations and transformations that haven’t been done before. Currency conversions, unit conversions, math functions, date operations and more – it understands them all and can do them according to your calculations. You can even tell him basic things like fees and specific variables like the item’s position value and ask him to compute things like the subtotal or true total, including taxes or fees. The app even supports CSS blocks.
Numi is also easy to launch and use once you have it installed. You can open it from the Action Center, from the menu item, using the global hotkey, however you want. Likewise, the app has day and night modes to suit your job. The app is free and there is an older version available on the Mac App Store , but you can download the much improved beta (requires Yosemite or El Capitan) below to try it out.
