“The Opposite of Success Is Not Failure, but Apathy.”
We all want to be successful, but sometimes the fear of failure prevents us from trying new things. As Dr. Jason Fox points out, it makes us apathetic, which leads us nowhere.
While Fox’s speech at ClarkMorgan is filled with all sorts of corporate conversations, his idea in the quote above is useful to all of us. Failure is a necessary ingredient on the road to success. If you don’t fail, chances are you are just sitting there and doing nothing.
