Stay on Top of Your Morning and Weekly Routines With Recurring Trello Cards

Trello is a great tool to help you organize your entire life . Combine that with the automation magic of Zapier, and Trello can remind you of all your priorities and the procedures you want to follow.

We’ve already mentioned this trick as a way of scheduling repetitive tasks in Trello, but the Zapier blog notes a slightly different use: keeping track of your morning and daily rituals and putting those tasks on your to-do list:

Web and app designer Jay West relies on his day to day routines to be more productive. Using Zapier and Trello, he never misses a chance: his favorite Zap automatically adds duplicate cards to the “To Do” column of his Trello to-do list.

“I strongly believe in the power of well-designed morning and daily rituals,” says Christopher. “Each of the most important tasks that I want to complete on a daily basis is automatically put on my agenda ahead of everything else. When I wake up in the morning, my daily routine is already laid out for me, and I find it difficult to resist what is most important, which could otherwise be neglected. “

You can use this to develop a weekly review habit to make sure you start your day right with your morning routine and to make sure you don’t miss out on any of your monthly goals.

Of course, you can also just add scheduled events to your calendar, but Trello is pretty good as a visually organized GTD system and project management tool .
