Make Google Book Search More Like Browsing a Virtual Library
It’s nice to find the book you’re looking for right away with a quick search, but part of the magic in libraries and bookstores is stumbling across great books you were n’t looking for. These tips can make exploring Google Books more like this.
In the video above from YouTuber PSWG3, you will learn several ways to turn the Google Book search engine into rows of bookshelves to explore. Start by going to Google Books . Find your favorite author or book, then find the About this book link. You will get a lot of useful information about the book and the author, but you will also find links that lead to “virtual bookshelves” with other books by the author and other books of the same genre. With these tips, you can simply discover a whole virtual pile of new books to ponder on. In my opinion, nothing beats browsing a real library or bookstore , but learning this way is a great alternative.
