Raspberry Pi Official Touchscreen Launches for $ 60

The Raspberry Pi Foundation has released an official touchscreen in addition to its tiny computer. The 7-inch display has a resolution of 800×480 and supports 10-finger touch.

As you’d expect, the display isn’t very pretty, but that’s the point. It’s cheap, Pi compatible, and easy to customize. It is an RGB 800×480 display with 24-bit color and 70 degree viewing angle. But even so, it also has a mounting pad for the Raspberry Pi, so you can easily integrate it into a mini candy bar.
