Instagram Finally Lets You Take Landscape and Portrait Photos
Android / iPhone: Instagram has released an update to its app that allows you to post landscape or portrait photos and videos, finally dropping the requirement to square photos.
Basically, you don’t need to post square photos anymore. After you select a photo, pinch it or click the new format button on the left to post a landscape or portrait photo. It is so simple. Once you share this photo, it will appear in other feeds as a full image. It looks like updates are still rolling out, so if they’re not immediately available, be sure to check back later.
