Amazon Underground Provides Free Access to Paid Android Apps
Android: Amazon’s app store didn’t do too much to distract attention from the Google Play Store, but its free app of the day was a good feature. The company is now getting rid of that by replacing it with Amazon Underground. It now gives users a variety of paid apps and games for free.
Like most of Amazon’s Android offerings, you can’t get it from the Play Store. To download Amazon Underground on your device, you need to visit amazon.com/underground on your phone. In the application, you will be able to view free applications, which are usually paid. What’s more, Underground even offers many of the in-app purchases that apps offer for free, meaning that offers go beyond just sticker price.
