Avoid Over-Packaging by Sticking to a Consistent Color Palette
When you’re trying to travel light, packing clothes that go well with everything else you pack can save you tons of space.
Sticking to carry-on luggage when traveling is quite real , and it gives you a certain amount of freedom that you cannot achieve with bulky luggage. Business Insider’s Sophie-Claire Heller suggests keeping clothes as minimal as possible by sticking to one primary color:
Take one color palette, ideally a dark one. Not only do you not need to worry about matching, darker colors will hide blemishes better.
Darker colors are also good at hiding sweat, and this is definitely possible when you are traveling. Choose navy blue, brown, or just shades of gray, white, gray and black. No matter what is clean or what is dirty, you can put together a durable outfit without minor travel marks and scuffs.
