Windows 10 for Raspberry Pi 2 and MinnowBoard Max Is Here
Microsoft has released a public version of its stripped-down version of Windows 10 targeting the Raspberry Pi 2 and Minnowboard Max, called Windows IoT Core.
Windows IoT Core is a lightweight version of the operating system that does not include a windowed interface or desktop experience. Instead, developers can create their own applications using Windows as a base. For developers, this should make it easier to distribute and share your projects, although you’ll need a full Windows 10 computer along with Visual Studio 2015 to use it.
