Clean Clogged Stove Burners With Baking Soda
Accidents happen in the kitchen. Whether it is an accidental boil-over or a large spill, the burners of your electric stove will surely light up after a while. If simple wiping doesn’t work, turn to your one-stop home helper: baking soda.
Apartment Therapy notes that you can often just turn on the burners to burn off food debris, but if they need a deeper clean, baking soda is the way to go. Let them cool completely, then remove them from the stove and rinse with a paste of baking soda and water. For very stubborn stains, let it stand for 20 minutes and then wash off with a damp cloth (be careful with electrical connections, however!).
