Create Custom Pegboard Tool Holders to Organize Wall Storage
Pegboard is a handy tool organizer – everyone knows that. But they can hold much more than you think. Here’s how to create custom shelves and tool holders that expand the functionality of your perforated board.
With 3/4 ” boards and L-screws, you can hang your tools in less than 15 minutes. You will need a saw to cut the shelves to the desired length, a drill to pre-drill the holes, and a chamfering plane. Chamfering the top inner edge of the board will allow you to easily attach it to the perforated board.
Using this shelf attachment technique, you can design and build many other types of tool organizers. Small plugs can be useful for storing wrenches and cables.
