Amazon for Android Now Supports Voice Commands Such As “Where Are My Things?”
Voice commands are great . While we’re used to using them in our various personal assistant apps, Amazon is getting started with application-specific voice commands in its app, including things like “where are my things?” and re-ordering some items.
This feature was quietly added a couple of weeks ago, although the company only recently updated its changelog. You can now use voice commands to ask about existing orders with commands such as “Where are my things?” or more specific questions like “Where is my Blu-ray ?” You can also use voice commands to reorder things like paper towels and other small items. This is not a revolutionary breakthrough, but it is clear that Amazon is making good use of what it has learned from the Amazon Echo .
