Pocket on IOS Finally Lets You Listen to Articles With Text-to-Speech
Pocket is one of our favorite services for saving articles for later reading , but the iOS app was missing an awesome feature that Android users have long had: text-to-speech. Things are changing today with the Pocket app update on iPhone and iPad.
With text-to-speech, you can listen to any of your saved articles and even start from anywhere in the article. You can even skip paragraphs and change your reading speed if you want to get through the backlog faster. It also automatically detects the language, so you can listen to your articles in all languages. To use text-to-speech, open the article of your choice and click the button with three dots; then select Listen (TTS). You can download Pocket or update to a newer version (5.6.7) here in the iOS App Store .
