Google Drive Now Lets You Block Uploads or Copies of Shared Files

One of the best features of Google Drive is the ability to share and modify files with other users. Today, Google is evolving its permission system, allowing owners of shared files to block certain functions, such as downloading, printing, or copying.

Previously, if you shared a file for viewing only, Google allowed users to make a copy, download it locally, or print it. While this will not affect your existing file, you may not want to allow anyone else to make a copy. You can now lock it so that these options are unavailable. Also, if you add other editors to the file, you can now prevent them from adding other people without your knowledge.
