Ready for a Challenging New Workout? Try Basketball Balancing
Whether you have a basketball, tennis ball, or hula hoop in your garage, you have everything you need for an unusual and challenging workout. For example, here’s a killer basic move you can do with a basketball:
Basketball Core Buster
Sit on a basketball with your hands on the ground at your sides. Using your torso, gently lean back (about a foot) and lift your feet off the ground, trying to maintain your balance. Once you’ve mastered this, try lifting your hands off the ground as well. Keep your hand counting to 10 (or more if you can).
