Learn to Trim Plywood to Complete Your DIY Projects
Plywood is the most popular building material for do-it-yourself woodcutters. It is relatively cheap, durable and easy to work with. But not all are fans of unfinished edges. Here’s how to apply edgebanding to give your plywood furniture a more finished look.
The edging is available in thin veneer , thin home sawn veneer and solid wood planks. The easiest way is to use a thin veneer strip that comes in a pre-glued roll. To apply the edging tape you will need an iron, an edge banding roller, utility knife, planer and 180 grit sandpaper. It’s a simple process, and the finished product is stronger and just looks better.
Follow the instructions in the video above and your plywood designs will never look the same.
