OS X El Capitan and IOS 9 Public Betas Available
Mac: OS X El Capitan and iOS 9 were announced just a month ago , and today public beta versions for both are available for anyone looking to dive into the new OS.
iOS 9 comes with some new proactive features for Siri, public transit routes, multitaxing on the iPad, and some Spotlight improvements along with other minor updates. As far as El Capitan is concerned, the new operating system isn’t very exciting, but it has a few small improvements that make it a little easier to use. These include the more powerful Spotlight, new Mission Control, and a new split-screen mode for full-screen apps. Although they are public beta, they are still beta, so install at your own risk. It is probably not recommended to install any of these on your primary computer, and if you intend to use the beta version of El Capitan you should install it on a separate partition . Go to Apple’s Beta Testing Program page to sign up for the beta if you haven’t already.
