Ice Cream to Buy to Increase Your Cookie Dough Consumption
Have you ever bought a pint of cookie dough ice cream only to find that there is too much dough? Of course not; it is not as young people say. Luckily, the Buzzfeed Life staff have figured out which ice cream brands have the highest dough to ice cream ratio, so you can get more with every bite.
Even if there was such a thing as “too much cookie dough in my ice cream,” that would mean I was just eating a tub of cookie dough, which is fine. The folks at Buzzfeed seem to feel the same way, and they took four different pints (well, a pint of Häagen-Dazs less than a couple of ounces), melted them, and strained them out of the resulting ice cream soup. Curious ice cream scientists then weighed the dough (in tared bowls) and graded the grades based on what I call “dough density.”
Ben & Jerry’s was the clear winner, with over a fifth of its weight in cookie dough. (Just like me!) Häagen-Dazs came in second and SO Delicious tied for third with Three Twins. You can familiarize yourself with the whole process at the link below.
