Use Silk Tofu for a Creamier, Healthier Salad Dressing

The rich, creamy dressing turns your salad from boring to delicious. However, most cream dressings are quite heavy. If you want something lighter and healthier, use silk tofu instead. Its texture is perfect for homemade cream dressing.

Since silk tofu has a very soft texture and easily takes on the flavor of other foods, you can add almost anything to a tofu-based dressing and it’ll be delicious. Bon Appetit offers some tips to help you get started. All you have to do is add silk tofu to each of these combinations:

  • Miso and toasted sesame oil
  • Lime juice, lime zest and chili flakes
