If you want some pickles as soon as possible, but don’t want to go to the store, you can make them at home in about 30 seconds.
Pickling usually takes time because you are waiting for the water in the cucumbers to be slowly replaced by the vinegar spices during the pickling process. Instead of waiting, the Oakland Toy Lab at Instructables figured out a way to create a small vacuum chamber and make the process happen in half a minute.
