The Easiest Way to Clean a Public Grill
You know the last time you cleaned your own grill , but if you grill in a park, you can’t be sure when that public grill was last thoroughly cleaned. Next time you go for a picnic in the park or camping, here’s how you can clean this grill with ease.
You will need basic tools to clean your grill: a grill brush, aluminum foil, two paper bags, and a fork. Here’s what to do:
- Clean the grill and charcoal grid with a grill brush.
- Wipe the outside of the grate. If there are ash residues in the grill, cover one hand with a bag and place the ash in the other bag.
- If there is an ash collector on the grill, remove that as well.
- Line the grill with aluminum foil and punch holes in it with a fork to allow air to enter.
Now you’re ready to light up your grill and enjoy the day outdoors. Sample photos of each step can be found in the original post linked below.
