Build a Modern Bookcase From a Single Sheet of Plywood
Buying lumber to make your furniture can be confusing and time-consuming, but this modern style bookcase is built from a solid 3/4 ” sheet of plywood.
To make this bookcase, you will need a table saw (a guided circular saw will do), a drilling machine (or drill), a sander, square, level, clamps, and a hammer. This builder also made a dowel hole fixture out of scraps of plywood, allowing him to quickly drill the same holes used to connect each plank.
No screws or fasteners are used to fix the shelves, only dowels and wood glue. After you have cut all the pieces, make sure you paint or paint them before reassembling them and give them time to dry.
