Polygonal Desktop

Reader Pushkar introduced this beautiful desktop in our desktop showcase and we really love its look. Useful as a second screen or when it’s time to get going, this is how he set it up.

Pushkar’s desktop for Windows is quite simple to set up. You will need the basics we mentioned earlier, but here are the components together:

That’s all. If you like the whole “clock in the center of the screen” thing that we see on many desktops, you can customize it as described above. If you don’t, you can omit the Zirim Clock skin to keep the center of the screen open. We see why Pushkar kept it – it’s great when you have nothing, maybe as a second screen or desktop that you don’t always use, but there is still an analog clock in the corner in case you need to open apps on the screen, but still want to know the time (since the taskbar is not set to display).
