Google Play Music Now Has a Free Ad-Supported Version in the US
After Apple announced its subscription-only music service, Google made a free version of Google Play Music with ads.
(In a tweak from Apple, Google mentions that not only is this a new way to find the right music, but it gives artists another way to make money.)
The service allows you to listen to your favorite radio stations or create radio stations yourself by searching for your favorite artist, album or song. Sorry for those of you overseas: it is currently only available in the US.
You can listen to music online for free today at http://music.google.com/ and later this week on Android and iOS apps.
