Hound – Cross-Platform Natural Language Assistant From SoundHound
Android / iOS: Every major operating system these days comes with its own personal voice assistant, but most are tied to their own platform. Hound, an assistant from SoundHound, is available in beta for Android and coming to iOS soon.
The service does many of the same types of searches you’d expect from something like Google Now or Siri. However, SoundHound claims it can handle much more complex commands, such as “show me four or five star hotels in Seattle for three nights starting Friday, $ 150 to $ 250 a night.” If it works so well with all of the many versatile commands users can use, the app will be much more flexible than some voice assistants today.
The Android version is currently in beta by invitation only, but you can subscribe to it in the app below or by following this link . The iOS version is currently in development and you can also subscribe to receive notifications from the same link.
