Elevate the Flavor With DIY Citrus Powder

Citrus powders can add zest to almost anything you make, from drinks to cold meats and baked goods. And it’s very easy to create your own wonderful fragrances.

Making citrus powder is pretty straightforward, but if you’re dehydrating in the oven, it can take 12 to 24 hours at its lowest. If you have a dehydrator (or, better, an oven with a dryer setting), so much the better. All you have to do is wash the citrus fruits, cut them into very thin slices and remove the seeds, arrange the slices on baking sheets lined with parchment paper, and then dry them in the oven at 150 degrees (or at the lowest oven temperature).
