Skype Translator Preview Now Available to Everyone
Windows: Last year Microsoft announced an app that will let you communicate in real time with people speaking different languages, based on Skype. Although the service was only available to a small group of testers, it is now open to everyone.
The app currently supports translation between English, Spanish, Italian and Chinese. Just start a voice or video chat with your partner and whatever you say will be transcribed and translated in real time. Like any translation app, it won’t be perfect, but it can still break the barrier, which was not possible in the past.
