NerdWallet surveyed 370 of the largest metropolitan areas in the United States to find out: the size of the technology industry in this area (based on the number of technicians per 1000 total jobs), how well high-tech jobs are paid (the average annual salary for high-tech jobs in USA). area), and how far this income can go (based on average gross rent).

Unsurprisingly, Silicon Valley tops the list with thousands of tech companies and startups based there.
