Get 4K YouTube Videos With Google TestTube Experiments
4K video support is still fairly new and can be expensive for home theater applications. Your computer is a different story . With a decent enough graphics card and monitor, all you need is content. YouTube can provide this through the Google TestTube program.
Like Google Labs elsewhere on Google, TestTube allows adventurers to try out new YouTube features. There are currently only two functions. One is the new YouTube player (which we already showed you how to activate on your own ) and the other is 4K video support. With this feature enabled, users can stream 4K video at up to 60fps if possible. Google even has a selection of videos to get you started. It won’t solve the problem of waiting for your favorite shows to hit 4K, but you can at least start testing how your machine handles it.
