More Numbers to Add to Your Contact Group in Case of an Emergency
Hopefully by now you have at least one contact in your phone’s address book labeled ICE (in case of emergency). In addition to this person, you can create an ICE group for quick access to all types of support you may need.
CBS Los Angeles lists five important numbers to add to this group so that they can be easily found in an emergency where every second counts: local police and fire department, trusted neighbor, poison control center, insurance company and personal doctor.
Other numbers you might consider adding include numbers for auto insurance claims, hotline numbers for gas leaks and power outages, and your credit card numbers (in case they are lost or stolen). If you have a long list, you can group them by type of emergency .
