Treat Yourself Like a Friend to Get Through Tough Times
We are often stricter on ourselves than on other people, especially when it comes to failure. Treat yourself with the same compassion as you would a friend to help ease difficult times.
If a friend has told you about the same problem you are facing, you will show compassion for him and help him figure out what to do while calming them down . It is not our first instinct to fail in the same way.
