For a Creative Taste of Asparagus, Try Shaving It
Asparagus is easy enough to cook, easy to season and tasty. But if you want to try something new with asparagus, try shaving it off.
This suggestion comes from Food52, and in the video above, they show you how simple this technique is. Cut off some of the stem as you would with traditional asparagus cooking. Then take a knife, start at the end of the leg and shave.
From the link below, they suggest a delicious recipe, but you could probably just taste it the same way as usual – some salt, pepper, olive oil and maybe sprinkle with grated Parmesan. It will also be a delicious and easy addition to salad.
