Google Calendar Makes a Comeback and Improves the Month View on Mobile
Android: For unknown reasons, Google removed the full month view from the Android calendar, choosing instead the abbreviated version shown above on the right. While the Month view has always been awkward, the new solution isn’t much better. Now the old one is back and Google has even improved it a bit.
First, you can now find the different views in the slide-out navigation bar on the left, rather than the dropdown in the action bar. A quick view of the month is still available from the action bar, but with one new feature: you will now see colored dots for any events on that day, rather than the opaque gray dot “Something is happening.” The update is rolling out now, but you can take your time by downloading the APK of Android Police here .
