OS X 10.10.3 Coming With New Photos App

Apple today released OS X 10.10.3 update, which includes a new Photos app that replaces iPhoto and Aperture, along with several other minor improvements.

The new Photos app is a big new feature here. It’s like software like Picasa where you can easily organize, make small changes to photos, and automatically enhance photos in one go. The new Photos app doesn’t have the nasty menus and designs that iPhoto do. You can also create your own books and calendars pretty quickly from your photos. It’s also connected to your iCloud account, so everything on your phone can be synced to the desktop app. If you’ve used Photos on iOS, you’re already pretty much familiar with Photos in OS X, although the desktop app has a lot more editing features.

In addition to photos, 10.10.3 also offers a variety of emojis and improved support for Gmail’s two-factor authentication.
