Now That Spring Has Come, Dry Your Blanket Outdoors to Keep It Fresh
In addition to washing your blanket, you should air it out at least twice a year to keep it fresh. Now that it’s hot again, it’s time to do it.
You may have already started spring cleaning, so be sure to add a duvet drying line to your list. You can also do the same with other bulky bedding, such as duvets and quilts. If you live in an area warm enough to pack your blanket any time soon, ventilate it ahead of time so it doesn’t get moldy during storage. You should also wash and dry the blanket when you take it out again in the fall.
