Page Forwarder Redirects You to the Web Pages You Want to Read
Chrome: If you spend too much time on certain sites, there are many ways to block them . But why not take productivity a notch higher? Instead of just blocking the site, use this time to catch up on your Reading List. Page Forwarder will help you with this.
Most of us have a list of sites we like to visit, articles we like to read, or videos we like to watch. You can store all of these urls in Page Forwarder. The next time you visit a distracting site, the extension will redirect you to one of the items on your reading list. When you’re done reading, you can remove the url.
The extension is similar to the previously mentioned TimeWarp , but the biggest difference is in customization. TimeWarp focuses on redirecting you; Page Forwarder seems to be more geared towards your reading list. There are two steps. First add the sites or pages you want to block. Then add the sites or pages you want to read. The next time you go to a page on your blacklist, you will be redirected to a page on your reading list.
More conveniently, there is a bookmark option in the URL field, so you can easily add whatever pages you come across. And once you read the page, you can use the bookmark to remove it from the list. Once all of your pages have been read, you will no longer be redirected. You are allowed to visit sites from your blocked list until you add more pages to display content.
If you want to spend less time on certain sites and catch up on other pages, this is an easy way to do it. There is no scheduling feature here, so if you want to turn it on or off, you will have to go into the extension and remove any blocked sites that you want to access at a specific time.
