Turn Your USB Charger Into a Linux Computer
Need a truly laptop with Linux? At NODE, Chris Robinson shows you how to assemble a Linux computer inside a USB charger for maximum portability.
Once you have this setup set up, all you have to do is plug it into the wall and it will do whatever you want it to. You can set it up as a TOR relay, media server, personal VPN, or whatever. The insides are made of board development ODROID-the W , compatible with the Raspberry Pi and Raspbian. Otherwise, you’ll also need a USB charger, Wi-Fi adapter, micro SD card, and a few other materials to build everything. Putting everything together isn’t that difficult, but you will need to solder a bit, and since you will be working with electrical components it is important to follow Robinson’s guide carefully.
