Global Monitor Desktop

Jerome doesn’t have admin rights on his work laptop (which makes sense), but he didn’t want that to stop him from adding a little personality to it. The result is a beautiful, informative, and customizable Windows desktop. This is how he arranged it all.

Luckily for Jerome, Rainmeter and RocketDock don’t require admin rights to run. Using the two in combination, he was able to replace his taskbar with a dock, customize the wallpaper so it doesn’t look too out of place compared to his peers, and make something really special. Remember, he adjusts the wallpaper on top of the wallpapers his company has released, so if you want the exact look you’ll have to find a suitable replacement – it’s out of stock. In addition, you will need the following:

That’s all there is to know about it. You can apply this over any wallpaper, and Jerome tweaked the colors and fonts a bit to match his company’s desktop color scheme, so he didn’t have to change it – but still got something really personal. If you’re wondering how he made it all work, or if you’re having trouble, check out his Kinja blog post below for more details.
