Think of “sending Ships” When Doing One New Scary Deed

When you try to do something uncomfortable or intimidating every day , you grow in your career and improve your skills. However, these tasks do not always give immediate results. If you think of it as sending a ship, you will realize that not all of these missions succeed.

In “Muse” they explain that ships sent for reconnaissance do not always return. This does not mean that you stop sending them out:

Of course, shipping ships can be intimidating (by its very definition, a ship must sail through uncharted waters), so we often maintain the status quo and leave our ships at home. Moreover, there is no guarantee that the answer can follow you. Maybe nothing!

They suggest starting small: thinking about rivers and lakes and moving on to the oceans. You will find that “failures” are not so bad, and all you need is a few successes for them to pay off. You will confidently sail these choppy waters, leading to greater success.
