Restart IPhone Without Touching the Home or Power Button
iPhones, like computers, sometimes need to be rebooted. Maybe iMessage is naughty , for example. However, if the Home button and Power button are not working , you can still restart your phone by changing certain settings.
OS X Daily explains that changing certain settings will automatically restart your phone. For instance:
- Change accessibility options to bold text
- Reset network settings (note that you will lose saved passwords)
The accessibility option is obviously ideal as it won’t delete your saved passwords, but it’s good to have both.
