Plan Your Daily Routine for the Week, Weekend to-Do Lists

A daily routine puts your complicated life in order . However, if you structure every day, you may not always be able to account for what takes variable time. Save these unstructured tasks for the weekend.

In fact, I felt bad for a while about wasting time on these things on weekends. Weekends are fun! Parties! Relaxing! Cinema! Dozing! Hooray!

But the fact is, this list doesn’t take that long, and doing it takes away a huge amount of stress and chaos and prepares us all for the week ahead. I could take the kids and go grocery shopping on Friday afternoon, ask the family to help with cooking, laundry and cleaning for a couple of hours on Saturday, and then spend an hour or so at my desk on Sunday to go through the rest of It.
