Returning products is a hassle. Is it really only worth a few dollars? Some stores and brands will give you double your money back if you don’t like something.
This generous policy is not a way to get rich, but an incentive to try and trust the products. Sometimes it’s something in the department, like meat and food at Sam’s Club . Grocery stores like Giant Eagle will allow you to return branded merchandise for double the refund. Kroger allows you to trade it for a national brand . Aldi will refund your money and replace the item .
If the store does not pick up the item, write to the manufacturer. Shop Smart cites Procter & Gamble as an example, but check out any brand’s contact page. The brand can give you a refund and get a coupon to try out the product.
